I was born in Nakina on July 6, 1936 during the great fire when the town was ready for evacuation. I went to school there and Mary Vanderbeck was one of my friends and we played together. I was a nursing asst.in Red Cross Hosp. 1957-1960 and worked with Dr. McKillop who co-incidently had delivered me. I read "Trap Lines North" in the Nakina Public School when I was young and as a result of your interview with May, will read it again. Thanks to Mr. Matt Robinson for the great story.
