It's a very good book but doesn't go into detail about blind sets etc, just the over all experience of trapping in the bush - yet talks of how beavers legs(stumps) grow over with fur if they happen to yank free of a trap. His attitude and lust for life is so great that had he met Jim and his family they would have been fast friends. No matter what happened Charles was up for the task. I loved when the mice came into the cabin and a weasel comes in just like in TLN when Jim had a weasel too.Charles and his partner fall asleep listening to it chase the mice around the cabin rafters. The spirit of TLN is in this book not as good as TLN but I'll sure read it again. Starts out slow but builds nicely. A real good adventure. Thanks for note, Scott
