Trap-Lines North Changed my life. I Read the book 4 or 5 times a year when I was 12 living in Wisconsin on an 800 acre farm. I had my own trap-line (live box traps) for rabbits. My School Chum Todd had a beaver trap line with his dad. We pretended to be the Vanderbecks in the winter. I am married with 4 children whom all love trap-lines north. I am an author myself. Cooking in the Deep-South with Chef Bob published by 1st books publishing 2003. I have been knighted by Prince Dologrouky d' Anjou and own 2 restaurants and a catering company, but I still think about the days of my youth and the perfect quiet that 3 feet of snow gives to the land. And how young Lindsey felt in the lean-tos. If only we could recapture those days and live them again with only the innocent youthful knowlege we had at the time, life would be perfect.
