I read Trap Lines North because of a Young Canada Readers 6 book I read in grade 6. The excerpt is called The Witch-wolf and is on page 145 and deals with the part where Jim kills the wolf then bumps into Sergeant MacLeish. Our teacher pointed out to us that the full length book was in our school library and so away I went to read it. The book is edited by K.M. Given and L.A. Code and printed by Thomas Nelson and Sons Canada Limited. I found my copy in a used book store - the school book section. I paid 7.50 Canadian for mine and it is in excellent shape, no dust jacket but a blue picture cover seeing as how it was a text book and they seldom have dust jackets as they would have been wrecked on the school bus and would make the book cheaper to buy.I did see a copy of this book on abebooks.com .
